We Are Messengers is fronted by Darren Mulligan, a single-minded Irish man who writes rock n’ roll anthems and intimate earthly psalms for messy broken people. The goal has always been to engage culture in conversation about the goodness of God and to put words and melody to some of the hardest things we feel as humans. This is a band that understands and loves the outsiders, the marginalized, the lost and the least. We Are Messengers have built a career, the old-fashioned way, on the road touring relentlessly around the USA, Europe and beyond. They have had 11 consecutive top 10 radio singles including the multi chart #1 hit song “Come What May” and the Gold certified “Maybe It’s OK’. Collaboration has been a cornerstone of We Are Messengers distinctive sound. In 2020 country legend Vince Gill joined the band on a one take stripped back version of “Image of God” captured live and acoustic at Vince’s place. Features by Cory Asbury, Josh Baldwin, Ben Fuller, Blanca, Naomi Raine of Maverick City and Christian Hip Hop legend KB have followed.

Ben Fuller unashamedly shares his story of how God dramatically found him. After a 14-year struggle with addiction, he was set free in Jesus’ name, and passionately tells of the hope he found in Jesus through his music. His debut single, “Who I Am” went #1 on multiple Christian radio charts, and he was named Pandora Artist to Watch in 2023. He’s toured with Casting Crowns and Zach Williams, and shared the sold out Nissan Stadium stage with Jo Dee Messina at CMA fest. His current single, “If I Got Jesus” received more than 20 first week ads and continues to climb the radio charts.

He covers all topics, from acting to civic engagement, courage and seeking understanding. Richard also gives you a rare glimpse into the creative process and cinematic experiences of some of his most iconic movies including JawsStand By MeClose Encounters of The Third KindAmerican Graffiti, and The Goodbye Girl.

In 1967, Richard Dreyfuss appeared in his first film role, a small uncredited appearance in The Graduate starring Dustin Hoffman and Anne Bancroft. He had one line in that film, but in 1973, his big break came when legendary Director George Lucas cast Richard in the lead role in the iconic film, American Graffiti. He followed that role in a movie which he thought would end his career, starring in the comedy, The Apprenticeship of Duddy Kravitz. His career took a major turn though, in 1975, when Steven Spielberg offered him the lead alongside Robert Shaw and Roy Scheider in one of AFI’s top 100 films of all time, Jaws. He reunited with Spielberg two years later in another iconic film, Close Encounters of the Third Kind.

In 1977, Richard Dreyfuss won the coveted “BEST ACTOR” Academy Award in Neil Simon’s film adaptation, The Goodbye Girl, becoming the youngest actor to ever win that award. This award stood for 25 years until it was broken in 2003 by Adrien Brody for the film The Pianist. After several years of problems in his personal life, he returned to the screen in 1986 in Down and Out in Beverly Hills, followed by such films as Stakeout, Stand By Me, and the political farce Moon Over Parador, one of his personal favorites. In 1989, he reunited one more time with Spielberg for Audrey Hepburn’s final onscreen role in the film Always, and then followed that film up with Bill Murray in What About Bob, and in 1995 he received another Academy Award nomination for Best Actor in Mr. Hollands Opus. He has regularly appeared in television dramas including his much acclaimed role as Dick Cheney in Oliver Stone's 2008 George W. Bush bio-pic W, and the lead role of Bernie Madoff in another rave-reviewed miniseries, Madoff in 2016. In addition to his myriad of roles since, the focus of Richard Dreyfuss is also to revive Civics education in schools to teach future generations about the power of their citizenship and the principles that hold America together. In 2006, he created The Dreyfuss Initiative, which he eloquently writes about in his latest book, published in 2022, The Return of Senselessness.

Dr. Reed Timmer is an extreme meteorologist and storm chaser who specializes in intercepting the most powerful storms on the planet to collect valuable scientific data. Graduating with a PhD in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma, Timmer is not only a hardcore storm chaser, but also a scientist driven to unravel the mysteries behind these destructive storms and how they are changing over time. With a life devoted completely to storm chasing and extreme field research, Dr. Timmer has intercepted nearly 1000 tornadoes and dozens of hurricanes over the last few decades and is one of the few people in history to document both an EF5 tornado and Category 5 hurricane. He considers the up-close chasing of tornadoes an artform that is perfected over decades of experience.

The famous, tank-like storm chasing vehicles, called the Dominators, were invented by Timmer in 2009 for the purpose of recording data inside these most dangerous storms. Still in full operation today, the Dominators are outfitted with state-of-the-art meteorological sensors, and protected by an aerodynamic, armored outer shell that can anchor to the ground with hydraulic spikes. Reed has pioneered delivery mechanisms for deployment of sensors into tornadoes and hurricanes, such as ground-based probes, drones, balloons and even model rockets.

Timmer’s most memorable storm chases include the intercept of a strong tornado in southern Nebraska with Dominator 1 on June 17, 2009, with on-board sensors and mobile radar measuring a 140 mph wind gust from inside the vortex; and last year, when a trackable sensor was launched by model rocket into a mile-wide EF4 tornado in eastern Kansas using the roof-mounted rocket launcher of Dominator 3. The sensor, as attached to a parachute, was lifted up to 39,000 feet by the EF4 tornado at speeds of up to 190 mph, while recording unprecedented high-resolution (10 Hz) meteorological data throughout the 30-mile journey inside the vortex. Notable hurricane intercepts over the last 20 years include Hurricane Katrina in Slidell, LA, Rita in Orange, TX; and category 5 Hurricane Michael in October 2019.

In addition to field science, Dr. Timmer also provides life-saving reports and content while storm chasing through both traditional and social media platforms. Presently, he is storm chasing for the National Geographic Channel and the RadarOmega application.

“NEVER Stop Chasing” is not just a motto for Reed Timmer, but a way of life.
